Filmmaking Club: Thaumatrope

This week in the filmmaking clubs at Bancroft, Pierre Elliott Trudeau and Nesbitt Daycares, students learned about Persistence of Vision, the phenomenon that makes images appear to be moving. To test it out they made one of the first moving image inventions, a Thaumatrope, where two pictures they drew blended together as one.
