Daycare educator Ms. Rita and her group of daycare students had a discussion on solubles and insolubles during a pedagogical day on Monday, March 8, 2021. A soluble is susceptible of being dissolved in a liquid, especially water. An insoluble is incapable of being dissolved.

The students had fun putting solubles to the test! Using markers, they drew a picture on a paper towel. They then sprayed the drawings with water using a spray bottle. They had fun watching the colours dissolve into the paper towel, thus creating beautiful art.
