Congratulations to all the amazing B.A.S.E. EcoKids who participated in the November challenge. Your beautiful illustrations of what your rights mean to you were inspiring! It was so hard to choose “winners” because you are all Children’s Rights Champions! Bravo!
And the favourite is…

Carlyle International B.A.S.E. Daycare takes first place again with this amazing illustration of the “Right to Be Myself” by So Eun Kwak! Inspiring message and great work!
It’s a tie for second place!
Here are two wonderful illustrations of the “Right to a Home” by Ella Stewart of Carlyle International B.A.S.E. Daycare and the “Right to Education” by Adelina from Our Lady of Pompei B.A.S.E. Daycare. They both make home and school feel like a wonderful place to be!

Third place belongs to Ravie from Gerald McShane B.A.S.E. Daycare and his beyond cute illustration of the “Right to Choose Friends!”

Here is an honourable mention of our favourite rights challenge created by a Gerald McShane B.A.S.E. daycare student! What a wonderful challenge we should all undertake!
Honourable Mentions
Thank you for making it sooooo hard to pick our favourites from all your entries. The artistic talent and thoughtful reflections on children’s rights from B.A.S.E. Daycare students were truly inspiring to behold. We can’t resist sharing a few more of our favourites from Carlyle, Gerald McShane and Our Lady of Pompei daycares and only wish we could share them all! Well, hopefully we will be able to fit as many as possible into a B.A.S.E. Children’s Rights deck of cards later this year!
