Play it Fair! was the theme of the November 15 pedagogical day at Bancroft Elementary School.
Run by the Daycare Educators, groups of students rotated through different Play it Fair! games and learned about values such as cooperation, inclusion and respect, while also discovering the Rights of the Child.
At the end of the day, students created Play it Fair! superheroes! Older students helped younger ones throughout the day in a great spirit of cooperation!
November 20 is National Child Day and this year marked the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
