Calling all B.A.S.E. EcoKids! It’s time to save our soil because it’s in trouble!

This December, in honour of World Soil Day (December 5), create a painting or puzzle to save our soil! You can make your paint out of soil following these steps.

Did you know, according to the FAO, soil erosion is accelerated, up to 1,000 times, by unsustainable human activities and that it can take up to 1,000 years to produce just 2-3 cm of soil?!

If you want to create a newspaper-style puzzle or game (such as a crossword or word search), learn a bit more about soil with this great information for inspiration!

You have until the second week of January to submit your paintings and puzzles to the B.A.S.E. Daycare head office!
