Children from Mr. Ryan’s Parkdale B.A.S.E. Daycare Green Club are learning how to take an active role in reducing waste by making beautiful reusable grocery bags! The children had a lot of fun making the bags, which express their thoughts about saving our planet. Through this activity, they are learning valuables lesson about sustainability, respect, responsibility and consequences.

Showing children how to recycle passes along knowledge that reinforces and protects our collective efforts toward building a cleaner and brighter future, because teaching children to be environmentally conscious encourages them to grow into environmentally conscious adults.
