Edward Murphy: B.A.S.E. Daycare, Puppet Play

Stefanie Erskine, B.A.S.E. Animator

This fall, the kindergarten class from Edward Murphy Elementary School spent several weeks building puppets. Once completed, each and every puppet was as special and unique as the students who created them. Along with silly names and funny personalities, the student’s puppets were eventually brought to life in their very own puppet show. Students worked together to create fun and exciting stories for their puppets to perform in.

“I really liked making my puppet. She’s very nice and not mean. I used pink and purple hair because they’re my favourite colours and my puppet’s favourite colours too!” exclaimed Katya, Kindergarten, Edward Murphy School.
