Our Lady of Pompei: Knitting for the Homeless

Rosa De Paola, Our Lady of Pompei Daycare Educator

In keeping with the Christmas spirit of giving, our knitting club at Our Lady of Pompei daycare made a big colourful blanket for the homeless. Each student knitted a square. We then stitched them all together and the blanket was made! This will hopefully make a homeless person warm this holiday season. Christmas is all about giving so why not donate and give to those in need.

“We are filled with joy when helping someone less fortunate, especially at this time of year,” says Gabriella Zambardi, 6B.
