General Vanier: Green Club Intergenerational Cooking Workshop

This fall, students from General Vanier’s Green Club enjoyed a fun cooking experience with seniors from the local Saint Leonard area. Grade 4, 5 and 6 students interacted alongside seniors to make two flavours of pumpkin seeds as well as a pumpkin and orange jam. The students had lots of fun sharing stories and learning new skills from the seniors. A huge “Thank you” to the Saint Leonard Eco-quartier for organizing the event and to the seniors who shared their time with the students. Everyone enjoyed themselves participating in the activities and even got to take home a jar of jam for all their hard work.
