Dunrae Gardens Daycare students began working on their Mother’s Day craft two weeks before May 13, which was Mother’s Day this year. We made candle holders for our mothers. Everybody decorated their own candle holder with glass stain paint.
Some students even cut out pictures, stuck it to the inside of the candle holder, then traced the picture on the exterior of the candle holder. A lot of students drew flowers and hearts and wrote the word “MOM.” When we were done, we added a red candle inside. I really enjoyed doing this Mother’s Day activity. My mom really liked my candle holder.
