Leonardo Da Vinci: Apple Picking Pedagogical Day

By Pasquale Tedioso, Grade 5

Leonardo Da Vinci Daycare staff and students went apple picking on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

On Wednesday, September 14, 2011, Leonardo Da Vinci Academy Daycare went apple picking. It was a 45-minute ride to the apple orchard. We got off the bus and we went inside a gazebo to put our stuff down on the tables.

Then, we started our apple picking journey. Everyone got to fill up a bag. After we picked our apples, we ate our lunch and we went to the playground.

We played on wood and we painted our faces. We saw some animals like pigs, birds and lamas. Then, we got back on the bus for another 45-minute ride back to daycare.

There were plenty of activities to keep the children busy! They spent time in the playground, they got their faces painted and they went for a pony ride.

Daycare Technician, Ms. Carmela Buttino, planned an apple picking pedagogical day at Verger Richard Legault in Saint-Joseph-du-Lac
for daycare students on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

Everyone picked plenty of apples. The students got their faces painted.

Students played in the playground and also went on a pony ride.
