As the school year ends, our Grade 6 students are preparing to say good-bye to their elementary school years. We decided to ask our graduating students about their years at LDVA Daycare. Many of the students have attended daycare for seven years! The students we interviewed were Franky Benalia, Alessandro Bissante, Vanessa D’Angelo, Joseph Mormina and Michael Passarelli.

What were your favourite daycare outings?
Answer:
Joseph: Remembers having fun apple picking.
Kayla: Most memorable outing was bowling.
Vanessa: Enjoyed going to the movies.
Alessandro and Franky: “Cache a L’Eau” was their favourite.

Which was your most fun daycare project?
Answer:
Michael, Joseph, Alessandro and Franky: The NHL Playoffs Project with Miss Franca.

What will you miss the most about daycare?
Answer:
Kayla, Franky and Alessandro: Spending time with our friends.
Joseph and Michael: The educators.
Question No. 4
When you are in high school, will you be interested to volunteer and help out in the daycare?
Answer:
Michael and Joseph: We would be happy to come and help out.

What is the most important thing you learned all these years in daycare?
Answer:
Kayla: To be friends with different people.
Alessandro and Franky: To respect everyone around us.

How do you think you will feel on your last day of school?
Answer:
Joseph and Michael: Sad.
Kayla: Excited and happy.
Franky: Excited to move on.
Alessandro: Mixed feelings, sad and happy.
Vanessa: Very, very, happy.
